About

I am a Union High School graduate and a current Music Education major at Gettysburg College, where I am actively developing my skills as a performer, conductor, and educator. Music has been a central part of my life for as long as I can remember. I have nine years of experience on trumpet and piano, along with five years on cello, which has allowed me to grow as a well-rounded, multi-instrumental musician.

Throughout my musical journey, I’ve had the privilege of performing in PMEA district and region festivals, as well as collaborating with collegiate ensembles at institutions such as IUP, PennWest Clarion, and Westminster. These opportunities have broadened my perspective, strengthened my musicianship, and connected me with inspiring educators and performers from across the state.

At Gettysburg, I am trumpet section leader of the Bullets Marching Band and an active member of the Wind Symphony and Symphony Orchestra. I also have experience with smaller chamber settings from Brass Quintet and Latin Jazz Ensemble. My ensemble experiences continue to challenge me musically while fostering a deeper appreciation for teamwork, discipline, and artistic expression.

In addition to performing, I bring hands-on teaching experience in both trumpet and piano. I truly enjoy working with young musicians and guiding them as they build confidence and grow their skills. I’m excited to share what I’ve learned over the years and to support new students on their own musical paths.

As an educator, I strive to create lessons that are engaging, supportive, and enjoyable. My goal is to provide a welcoming space where students feel comfortable learning, asking questions, and exploring their musical potential.

I look forward to meeting you and helping you reach your musical goals!

What matters to me...

As a musician and educator, I believe music should first and foremost be enjoyable and uplifting. I value creating musical experiences that allow students to let go of everyday stress and find a sense of ease, expression, and joy. Music has an incredible ability to connect people, ideas, and moments in life, and I strive to help students discover those connections both inside and outside the practice room. Whether we’re mastering new skills or simply making sound together, I want music to feel meaningful, freeing, and deeply human.

What lessons look like...

When you study with me, lessons are designed to who you are, your goals, your pace, and the music that excites you. I love creating a relaxed, encouraging space where you can learn without pressure and feel comfortable being yourself. We’ll build solid fundamentals, but we’ll also explore music that inspires you. I’m patient, flexible, and always happy to adjust our approach to what works best for you. My hope is that each lesson feels meaningful, motivating, and fun, and that you leave feeling proud of your progress and excited to come back.
